Colombia Coffee Roasters - Oxford

This super cozy coffee shop in the heart of Summertown offers some of the most amazing hot chocolate I have ever tasted. The cocoa comes from plantations in Colombia and you can really taste the quality. My favorite is the Sierra Nevada blend (70% dark) with milk, accompanied by a small piece of chocolate on the side. It is truly heavenly in a cup. They also have some delicious vegan options. The banana bread is a must-try, especially when toasted. I also sampled their vegan brownie, which was more like a chocolate cake with a rich chocolate topping. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. The vegan sandwich was decent, with lovely bread but lacking in filling (it felt like I was mostly eating bread). They are currently offering alcohol-free sparkling wines, which are perfect for a relaxing afternoon. They smell amazing. Additionally, they sell a variety of artisan breads, including cheese, honey, and produce. I tried the Black Forest loaf and rye loaf, both of which were delicious. The bakery they source from is top-notch. The staff is friendly and the owner, a Colombian woman, is always present to ensure everything runs smoothly. I highly recommend this place, especially for the hot chocolate experience!

I want to thank you all for the amazing coffee experience at Colombia Coffee Roasters in Oxford. I've tried a few coffee shops in the area and was always left disappointed until now. The coffee here was simply the best, both in texture and taste. I even purchased some "Gentleman's Espresso" coffee beans to enjoy at home. I am truly satisfied and grateful for the great service. I absolutely loved the oat milk latte from the shop at the covered market. The coffee was excellent and the latte art was truly impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend it.

The coffee shop is always very busy, with a shortage of staff. As a result, many tables are covered in empty plates and cups, and I had to wait 8 minutes for my coffee. They offer a wide variety of food, but the small kitchen and limited staff make it impractical. To make up for the slow service, they give out beepers that alert you when your coffee is ready. However, the constant beeping creates a chaotic and stressful atmosphere. It would be beneficial for the business to hire more staff and consider expanding the kitchen if they want to continue offering a wide range of food options. My experience, along with others I spoke with, was not great.
