Branca - Oxford

I've heard mixed reviews about this place, which is why I’m giving it a slightly lower rating. The prices for the food, especially for a deli, are a bit high. As a student, I do stop by occasionally to pick up a few items, but not very often because of the cost. The chocolate section is fantastic, featuring some unique and appealing sweets that I've never seen elsewhere. However, I found the gnocchi pasta to be quite disappointing; it was overly dry and almost inedible. I haven’t tried the restaurant yet, but I’m looking forward to giving it a shot in the near future. It would also be great if they offered student discounts or a points system to make dining more affordable.

What a fantastic place this is, featuring an extensive selection of deli foods! There are ample seating options both indoors and outdoors, perfect for enjoying their coffee and meals. This spot is surprisingly spacious, as it appears small from the outside. Once you step inside, you’ll find it much larger than expected. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. This restaurant is really elegant and spacious, with friendly staff and an intriguing Italian menu. The cocktails are delicious, and the ambiance is fantastic. I had a lovely, cozy Saturday afternoon meal here. The antipasti starter was excellent, and the venison main dish was delightful.

One of my favorite places for lunch or dinner in oxford, branca can be used for a series of delicious, all made with high quality, often local ingredients. the Deli shop is curated to entice them from any angle, and the restaurant itself is the kind of place they love to come to themselves, even for the ambiente.

A great atmosphere, relaxing with a lot of natural light. The coffee was quite enjoyable and the food options at the deli, especially anything made on the spot, are great. The pricing is the only real issue here as you certainly are paying a premium for the atmosphere. Otherwise, nothing bad to say.
