Al Shami - Oxford

Definitiw a local restaurant I felt that most other diners were known to the staff, but that made a beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately, my first choice was not available, but the Lebanese meatballs and cauliflowers were excellent! loved the traditionally decorated. table and floor! would go back!

Beautiful teller of tasty near east food. we order several smaller dishes to share. the falafels are fantastic, I think the best I had. good salad, beautiful meat and vegetarian dishes. all in a beautiful part of oxford (parking a challenge) and in a bright, spacious airy restaurant. well for larger groups, as there is a separate room, they can book for functions.

The food was very average and the service was practically not available. surprising waiters. we cut our meal short and left. continue to the walton street where there are many good restaurants and a much better atmosphere

Always excellent eating delicious aromas. we order in the regular a series of appetizers both hot and cold. treats us to a takeaway and they gave us a separate pot for the dressing so that the tabbouleh did not go so sweetly so contemplative. we've been coming for 30 years, you and never going anywhere!

Slightly slow service from inexperienced teenage waiter but the food when it came was plentiful and delicious. Four of us ate very well with booze for about £80.
