The carpaccio with truffe oil, like before, we were mostly comfortable. Also the cable-chewedy's tasted delicious and that sauce in it! I'd never eaten a mechel cookie before, I expected a very juicy piece of chicken, but what the cook served, it didn't taste like a dry chicken file. The sauce, however, was very delicious and also the crowns and the rookies. I suspect the ice wasn't thrown fresh, because I digested deep freeze, the service was rafty and thoughtful, a real fixer, the paperwork with publicity, which you didn't expect to have a very nice table. Or is oasis sponsored by these companies?
The 4-course menu was delicious, the wine [australian red] delicious, good service and fun atmosphere. Two points, the portions were small, especially the meatpaccio, and the chief has black pepper on the edge of every ship that transcends some flavor, but have a nice night everywhere.
Simple but good food, kind service, no explanation for food, tables close together, not so cozy, had a little bit of a reefer. Would go back before the terrace in the summer: There's a playground bordering on the terrace that looks out on the shell, ideal for an ice cream in the summer. The food, for instance, our main dish, fried chicken filet with sauce, crotches, and few vegetables, and steady vows were very simple and I'm also making myself ready. dessert was one pile of ice cream with coulis on a plate. Not spectacular, then. The menu was 28 per person, we paid 22 euros for one aperitive and a small cart of home wine. No water. We thought that was pricey.
The restaurant was very welcoming and provided impeccable service. The T-bone steak was excellent and paired perfectly with a delicious Saint Emilion wine. It's a charming place that I will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening in Oudenaarde.
