Owowcow Creamery - Ottsville

The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. The staff was generally pleasant. My only disappointment came when my three-year-old son urgently needed to use the restroom and was clearly uncomfortable. The person who seemed to be the manager firmly declined my request for him to use their bathroom, suggesting instead that we go to a nearby Turkey Hill. I had to load my distressed child into the car and drive about 10 minutes, navigating traffic lights, to find a restroom. I completely understand the policy for adults, but it's quite harsh to deny a child in need. As a restaurant owner myself, I would never turn a child away. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, despite the food being very good. It’s a shame.

This charming ice cream shop offers a cozy atmosphere and a diverse selection of flavors, including some vegan options. The ambiance is also quite distinctive, adding to the overall experience.

Smooth and creamy deliciousness with a variety of flavors that takes ice cream to a new level is found at Owowcow. They have the basics which tastes more than “basic” but I went for the plum creme brûlée. The plum creme brûlée had a perfect balance of flavors with chunks of creme brûlée. I ordered a small in a cup (they have cones) and be aware the “small” is pretty substantial. They have an outside seating area that’s pretty and in the shade. The folks behind the counter are more than willing to give a “taste” to be sure your purchase is what you want. Enjoy on those hot days as summer winds down!
