We stopped here on our way to woolongong and the pies were great and coffee and hot chocolates was really good also.
Been going occaisionally for many years. LOVE their apple pies and nice coffee. Great Pacific views over the road. Only open weekends i think
As we drove by the place had people sitting outside so we stopped for a bite. We ordered two pies, two desert pies and two smoothies. My chicken and leak pie was pastry with some glutinous mess inside. There was no chicken and I couldn’t taste any leak. To top it off it wasn’t hot. My wife said her pie wasn’t any better. The cheese and cherry pies were heavy and not at all appetising. My wife just totally disposed of hers. The mango smoothies had no taste of mango and almost made the milk taste rancid. We both threw ours in the bin. I did mention it to the girl working there and she offered to make another one, but what’s the point if it’s going to be the same. I have to say it was literally throwing $44.12 in the bin. Save your money and try somewhere else as this was just awful.
Very quiet on a Friday despite the coast being busy, possibly due to the limited range and quirks like only stocking sugar free soft drinks. It turned out to be good for a snack stop though, doing a good iced coffee and good pies and pastries, including a big empanada with the authentic beef and olives and stuff.
