New Century Chinese Food - Oshawa

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and I have never had any issues. Overall, the Chinese food is great.

The chicken tasted like fish and the egg rolls were chewy. I was not impressed and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Do not order from this restaurant under any circumstances. I ordered lo mein and canceled the order within 2 minutes, only to be charged because they had already started making it. Despite attempting to get a refund, I was told they couldn't refund me after 48 hours. The cancellation fee was supposed to be $4.00, not a charge for the food. The lack of transparency and poor customer service make this place not worth ordering from. Scammers.

I have had take out from here a number of times. The portions are a good size, the food is always hot and it tastes great.

Came here after reading about it getting recommended on reddit r/oshawa. Ordered the D3. Quality and taste is meh. 3 star at best. I felt the rice was dry and hard to chew. The food had an “chemical/industrial” taste to it if that makes sense. Meat portions could have been more generous.
