Melt Food Co. - Oshawa

We had just finished shopping at Costco when we realized we were hungry. Looking oin close proximity we found Meltwich. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great sandwich and some great conversation with the owner. The Tattooed Chicken was fabulous! This restaurant should be the standard for cleanliness for all other restaurants. We will most definitely be back and I will most definitely be referring others to go.

The Godfather grilled cheese is amazing, and the tomato bisque is very tasty. My daughter had the Backstabbed poutine, which she thought was much better than Smoke's poutine. The restaurant was not very crowded when we went, but it was after lunch time and the store was clean. As long as you are willing to spend a little extra, the food is excellent. Our bill came to $27 for the Godfather grilled cheese, tomato bisque, Backstabbed poutine, and two drinks.

My husband and I were shopping recently and decided to try a new spot for lunch. There are a few new restaurants in the area, but we ended up walking into Melt Food and we are glad we did! We were pleased to see fresh ingredients being used and prepared right in front of us. I ordered the Tattooed Wrap and my husband got the West Coast Wrap. Both were filled with tasty chicken, bacon, and vegetables. The sauces added just the right amount of flavor, making every bite delicious. Although it is a bit on the pricier side, I would say it was worth it for a gourmet-style lunch. We will definitely be back, and their menu has something for everyone to enjoy.

The burger wasn't terrible. It tasted similar to ones I make at home, but for the price, I could have just made it myself. The fries and salad were decent. In general, it was a step above fast food chains. I may return and try another dish, but I wasn't impressed.

I had the burger and fries and my daughter had a grilled cheese and fries. We both thought the food was great. Burger tasted homemade- not frozen. Fries were nice and crispy. My daughter had a shake which was delicious! I found the pricing reasonable. Location was clean and modern. Will be back!
