Lucky Cho - Oshawa

My mother and I ordered the dinner for 2, which included two spring rolls, a chicken fried rice, two entrees, two cans of pop, and fortune cookies. We chose kung pao chicken and chilli chicken for the entrees. Chilli chicken is my favorite dish and I order it every time I have Hakka food. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that I couldn't even distinguish which dishes we had ordered. The taste was off, with an odd flavor and little to no spice. It was surprisingly sweet, and the rice was dry with very few ingredients. The entrees had very little chicken and were mostly vegetables. It was seriously the worst. I would not recommend trying this place, and I am puzzled by the positive reviews. I suspect that they may be exaggerated or trying to support the business, which, in my opinion, they do not deserve. Instead, I suggest trying Fine Taste Hakka or The Zen for a better dining experience. I have been to both of these places multiple times, and they never disappoint, especially Fine Taste. I will never order from Unlucky Cho again. They really missed the mark.

This was the worst Hakka chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. My wife and I ordered chicken Manchurian, spring rolls, dumplings, and fish pakora.The Manchurian had no flavour, it was just extremely spicy, I ordered it with gravy, even the gravy was non existent. The dumplings, spring rolls and fish pakora had a very bland taste, didn't feel like it had any salt or pepper in it, there was no flavour and they were extremely dry.The only thing you can get from here and won't be dissatisfied is the chicken corn soup, otherwise I recommend Fine Taste Hakka has better taste and options in Whitby.

Found this restaurant when downtown. Great food wonderful staff. Will be going back
