Every Friday the family enjoys Ally's Fish n Chips. If you get a chance he makes the best Grill Fish Platter.

Luv this place,,,tried others and always crave the food here,,,,fries are awesome ,,fish batter is always perfect,,,and the people who work here are always friendly,,talk to you like a friend,,,,so always welcomed when I come into eat,,,,

Stopped by for lunch with husband. Ordered the Halibut fish as chip special. Was looking forward to having the salad in place of the fries. Disappointing that the only salad dressing available was Thousand Island. Passed on the salad. Surely with 3 people working, and not busy. Surely someone could of walked done to the No Frills to get other salad dressings.Halibut was great as usual, fries over cooked. Coleslaw had way to much dressing, un eatible.

I stopped in for lunch, as I had driven past many times and never been before. Haddock and chips were tasty. The restaurant itself is dated, better for take out.Reading some notes about cleanliness, I did notice that the washroom was not clean.I had a general feeling about the place ,and lack of cleanliness,but the food tasted good, And I lived to write about it.There are so many places that serve fish and chips, I would search out others before returning.

Really love this little place for fish and chips, whether you eat in or take home their food is always fresh, hot and tasty and made to order. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices, especially the haddock. Not much difference between the flavour/texture of the halibut and haddock so why not just order the more reasonably priced haddock. The french fries are always consistently good, never overcooked. Take out orders are wrapped in paper, the old fashioned way. Our son loves their poutine and you get your money's worth.
