Baxters Landing - Oshawa

Reservation was a 6pm Sunday. We’re informed they were out of steak, scallops, and naan bread

Deanna the server was excellent, friendly attentive.

The suppe I was served was terrible; I never sent anything back to the kitchen, but it was insensitive; in the round a bowl of white water with nothing in it. it was said that two other people also sent him back. the server offered me nothing else. I just took it away and didn't offer me the menu back so I had no lunch. very out of the way to say the least. I thought they might have composed my softdrink, but she was accused of it.

I would suggest having some daily specials or maybe happy hour appetizers and drink deals. A lot of people especially during the holiday season like to drop in to a restaurant for those specials. There were no specials at all. Got to notice people to come back. Prices are high.

Sadly my carbonara was completely lacking in flavour. My $15 glass of house wine gave me an instant headache and I regretted my choice. I love this restaurant and will be back but it was definitely an off night.
