Posto Matto - OSBORNE PARK

I visit regularly for lunch, the staff are always helpful, the food is delicious, the pizza is amazing and the cocktails are delightful!

We took the family to dinner in August, of us all ordered something different from the menu. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, be that fish, beef, pizza and assorted pasta dishes we tried them all. There was larger groups than ours...obviously celebrating occasions as well as numerous tables of couples. A fun restaurant with good atmosphere on a Saturday night. I have been here numerous times during the day also for lunch as well as coffee and cake. The wine list was good and interesting beers also got a run on our table. I am happy to go to Posto Matto anytime.

Had dinner here just before Christmas. Food was mainly pasta based. My three friends all had a pasta dish which appeared to be tasty. I had fish of the day dish which was a type of snapper, and unfortunately was the blandest dish I have...ever had. It sat on a very thin layer of boiled pearl couscous and a smattering of sliced tasteless fennel on the top of the fish. No vegetables on the side. They apparently were extra which I didn’t know. Very disappointed on my part. It did have one redeeming factor and that was the lemon flavoured Cannolo which I had for sweets which was delicious.

Amazing pizza and we also had the Radicchio which was fresh and served with Parmesan shavings and a very tasty dressing. Service was excellent looking forward to going back. Looking at other food that was being served it all looked tasty and the portions quite...large.

This restaurant is always bustling with excellent service. We stopped in for a quick meal and couldn't resist trying the chili mussels. We were not let down - the portion was generous and incredibly tasty.
