Golden Bakery Osborne Park

I go at here as often as I am close you can get Hot Pies Award winning, but iusually get a wrap made to order always fresh and fabulous

As with all the Golden Bakery outlets, its a good place to grab a pie, pastie or sausage roll. There are a few table and chairs inside and outside if you don't want to go back to work and eat it there.

This bakery is really nice They also do platters which are a reasonable price. My office is in the area so we get platters from here quite often. Their meat and cheese pies are yum and their hot chips are the best hot chips around!

This energetic little take-away outlet (This is on William St in the CBD, not their Osborne Park outlet, though they are pretty similar) does a fast turn around on pre-made or made-to-order sandwiches and rolls (both $5.80) and award winning pies as well as sausage rolls (wide range) samosas and cakes. Service is fast, almost frantic at busy times, with no time for chatter as busy staff serve customers at high speed. Nice pastry products and fresh sandwiches are their staple and they are good at it. Catering options are available too. The ambiance is immaterial, you are in and out in moments. Open 7 days.

Their continued winning of awards for pastry products says it all. I first went there in 2011 and most recently in March 2017. The display cabinet has a large range of pies, pasties and sausage rolls which can be bought hot or cold. In my sampling they have been of excellent quality, both the golden pastry and the filling. The meat pies are bulging full with a great tasting meat and gravy mixture. I especially like the pasties.You can also buy typical lunch shop products made fresh to order including hamburgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and Vietnamese rice paper rolls.Not to mention the range of freshly baked sweet pastries (I haven't tried these yet)Whenever I visit I take away a selection of cold pies etc for freezing and re-heating later at home.Highly recommended.
