Seceda A Monte Funivia - ORTISEI

E' il posto giusto per un pranzo sulle piste dopo la lunga attesa della funivia. Ci si siede e prendono loro l'ordinazione. Tutto molto buono (zuppa goulasch, zuppa orzo e tris di canederli).

Premetto che ho assaggiato il tris di canederli, davvero buonissimiiii a canederlo ma visto il luogo lo accetto). La cameriera orientale carinissima, dallo staff italiano neanche un sorriso. La pecca è stata solo la gestione covid: nessuno mi ha chiesto il green pass (benché fossi al tavolo con sconosciuti e il ristorante fosse pieno) e in cucina tutto lo staff era bellamente senza mascherina. In bocca al lupo e buona vita !

We had lunch at this place with my family and I had high expectations based on the reviews. Our experience was not great: Gnocchi were very nice and soft but the cheese-truffle sauce a bit too delicate. Eggs with speck and potatoes are good , but for the price I'd have expected not 1 but 2 eggs. Menu looks good selection, the food portions are rather generous, but compensated by rather high prices for a mountain hut. Service was good. The views are excellent and there's a small playground behind the main building, which makes it a good stop for families with children. The atmosphere is the typical one of a standard fare hut, nothing special really. All in all, a good choice for skiers, but nothing worth a special detour for, particularly due to the prices.

Stopped here for lunch. Friendly waiter. Typical Tyrolean fare. Ideal to refuel after skiing before the long run down back to Ortisei.

Fabulous scenery, food and good hiking. The Gondola ride up the mountain was wonderful. We stayed in the Village of Ortisei, Italy....very clean and friendly.
