The gasthof and restaurant are both hidden gems. The location is perfect for exploring Orkney and catching the ferry to the Scottish mainland. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The dinner at the restaurant was truly exceptional, with locally sourced ingredients. The Scottish breakfasts are a great way to start the day before exploring the stunning landscapes and beautiful sights. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Be sure not to miss out on the creel when it's available!
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The service was exceptional, the rooms were cozy and roomy, and the breakfast was delectable. We will definitely be returning to the Creel the next time we are in Orkney. I highly recommend it!
The restaurant is very well organized and is a lovely venue. The dining areas are sizable and the breakfast is top-notch. The owner was extremely attentive and went out of their way to assist guests who were experiencing difficulties during their trip.
