The Oquawka Diner

This charming little restaurant is located in a small town that I happened to pass through on my way to Peoria International Airport. I chose to eat here instead of stopping at one of the rest areas or a chain restaurant, and I'm glad I did. The prices are very reasonable, they accept credit cards, the service was excellent, there's plenty of parking, and the portions were quite generous. I’ll definitely remember this place for future visits when I’m in the area.

The food and service were outstanding. At our table, we ordered cheeseburgers, homemade fries, and catfish served with a salad and baked potato. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious.

I dined at this restaurant on Father's Day for lunch, looking for a tenderloin sandwich that reminded me of my childhood. You know the type—crispy, thin, and utterly delicious, with that cornmeal-style breading. They have truly perfected it here! Honestly, it was the best tenderloin I've tasted since I was a kid. Keep up the fantastic work!
