La Tavola Italian Pizza - Burlington

My wife and I decided to go to La Tavola for our anniversary dinner and it turned out to be a big mistake. First the good. My wife ordered the Chicken Savoy and it was very good 3.5 4.0 stars good). The chicken was tender and the sauce was very tasty.I ordered the lobster ravioli. First of all I doubt there was any lobster in the ravioli. I neither saw nor tasted any lobster.The sauce was very heavy and way over salted. It was so salty that I was only able to eat one ravioli maybe that's why Icouldn't taste any lobster). Second, the shrimp in the dish were way over cooked. Instead of tender and sweet shrimp, the shrimpwas tough and tasteless. While the service was generally good our server should have asked why I didn't eat my meal or wish totake it home. Never again.

I love this place like it?s a member of the family, the garlic knots are to DIE for and i could literally drink the marinara. every dish is phenomenal. been coming here for well over a decade and i?d go back for every meal if i could. burlington is luckyto have this place

This is without a doubt the most authentic and best tasting Italian food I have ever had. I would give it 10 stars if I could. You do have to have reservations so make sure to call ahead. Try the lobster ravioli and the bruschetta. You won?t bedisappointed.

Excellent food and service. Staff here are polite and upbeat. Family favorite for us.

Small, intimate, 8 tables, 1 server who was very busy, yet very good. Excellent Italian cuisine. Portions are quite large as well. I would return again and again if I were local.
