El Potro - Opelousas

Sombreros please come back! The decorations of the restaurant was a spitting image of sombreros but the food wasn't. Member in my party was asked if he would like enchalada sauce or queso(white cheese sauce as the put it on the menu) well he got both. The food was ok. The menu also reminds you on the bottom and the top and some pages in the middle you change anything they are going to charge you.

Great Mexican Food for a great price. Loved the delicious Margarita's to go after a long day of travel as well. Wonderul and friendly staff.

Never again, the little boy just threw chips on table like slopping hogs. He literally ran in to me with dirty dish cart and never said sorry. The salsa is so hot can't eat it!

The food was incredible! The drinks were spot on, and the staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived until we left. They engaged with my kids as if they were their own, which made the experience even more special. We've definitely found our new go-to place for those days when we don't feel like cooking but still want a fantastic meal!

The atmosphere is lovely. However, the steak fajitas were dry and lacked seasoning, while the shrimp, guacamole, and salsa were quite delicious. Unfortunately, the servers seemed preoccupied with their cell phones, so it might take some time before they're able to assist you. We plan to return for another visit, but it's hard not to compare it to the Mexican restaurant in Ville Platte, which is significantly better.
