Plumpjack Cafe Squaw Valley

Food was excellent and service was quite good, although a bit slow considering that half the restaurant was empty likely due to the coronavirus outbreak worldwide. Also very conveniently located in the village

PlumpJack Cafe is really nice restaurant! We try to go here every time we go to Squaw Valley This time out favorites were the Corinsh Hen and the Braised Lamb Shank

Went to Lake Tahoe in February before the lockdown. Very busy restaurant. Lots of people waiting. The service was organized, attentive, almost mechanical because it was so effective in handling a full house. Beautiful restaurant. The food was a hit and miss. Maybe the locals know what to order best, or we were too picky. But overall, it was a fine dining experience. Great spot if you stay at the hotel, or after a ski exercise and walking around the stores. A bit on the pricier side

Food was not exceptional. My husband had the sirloin steak and it was overdone. My son has the chicken and the veggies were bitter. My daughter had the monk fish and it was undercooked. I had the Cioppino soup and it was ok. Seafood cones, Cesar Salad and the creme brulee were delicious to be fair! Not sure if the Chef was sick on the day we were at PlumpJack, but the food was very average for the price they charged
