Very nice experience! We have the grilled Octopus and Calimari for apps, both were delicious! I got the Cioppino and Stacy the Lachsburger. Both were excellent and unlike The River in Wethersfield, the portions were quite large. The service was very good, even if we just arrived at about 5:30 a.m. on a Sunday, we sat right away. It is a little expensive, but the landscape, food and service make it well worth it.
It was pretty crowded, they brought us in outside. Calamari was great, drinks were decent, but plastic distractions. The swordfish loved the fish and chips were meh, hard to get water refilled. I looked overworked, took longer than I would like, last drink order was wrong, but close enough. Much too long to get the appetizers, a little bread or something could have made it more tolerable
Beautiful port site. We sat at a bar above because other outdoor tables were full or not cleaned. Tasty Calamari. Excellent hot lobster roll but truffles cold. (Waitress pulled off the bill without being asked. Swordfish with fresh green peas risotto was a pleasure. Mango cheesecake unforgettable, but strawberry basil Pesto Shortcake was a tad contrived. Service friendly — but so many places — apparently overworked due to lack of personnel
Great food. We are staying here and so far everything been great. Good attentive waiters . Lunch- tuna poke bowl . Breakfast- smoked salmon bagel. Perfect smoked salmon Benedict . Dinner- Arctic char and Seafood Cioppino. The Sunday brunch for Easter was too good.
