Penny Lane Pub - Old Saybrook

The pub offers delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive without being overly intrusive, and the prices are reasonable. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas create a pleasant environment for guests.

The food here is exceptional. Everything from the appetizers to the drinks is fantastic!

We enjoyed our meals, bison burger and fish tacos. Onion rings were fantastic. Good selection on beers on tap including a cider that was yum. Great service! Highly recommend

Have not been here in a few years. When we did go, it was exceptional. I can't say that anymore. The last visit was disappointing. The steak was tough, the kids burger and bison burger were overcooked. The kids' fries were soggy and ceasar side salads, nothing special. Food was left on plates. Perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen staff. No matter, we won't be returning. The wait staff was friendly but not super attentive after the food was served. There are much better restaurants in the area.

I had a group of approximately 15 people. The reservation process was handled smoothly. I had to call two times to finalize amount of people both persons I spoke to were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. It’s an extremely busy time of year and on a Saturday evening no less, everything went seamlessly. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. Everyone was happy with their selections. Appetizers of Brussel sprouts and calamari were perfection. The meals ranged from kids meals to ahi tuna bowl, salads, sheppards pie, fish tacos and burgers. Not a complaint in the group. Kudos to Penny Lane and their staff.
