John's Bbq - Okemah

I am a resident of Memphis, Tennessee, known for its barbecue. I have eaten at the best barbecue joints in Memphis, but John's surpasses them all! The brisket and burnt ends are excellent and melt in your mouth. The signature hot links are packed with flavor. Combine the delicious food with the warm Southern hospitality and it doesn't get any better. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and stop in! Thank you, guys!

I recently had the best BBQ I've had in a long time at this restaurant! I live in Midwest City, Oklahoma and was on my way back from Texas when I stopped for gas and smelled the amazing aroma. I couldn't resist stopping to try it out! I ordered burnt ends, turkey, and hot links for my meats, and slaw and beans for my sides. The flavor was absolutely incredible!

This BBQ is absolutely amazing! The hot and mild sauce is top-notch, the dry rub is fantastic, and the burnt ends are the best!

After traveling with work all over Oklahoma and trying BBQ in every town and city ... We have found the holy grail of meat and sauces!!! Excellent food!!! Wonderful staff... John and Kenny obviously love what they do... The proof is in every sample they offered up!!! Extremely reasonable prices on everything !!! Good times!!! Those burnt ends AMAZING!!! We will be back!!!

I stopped on my way home, I am from South Carolina and went to Arizona. This place is by far the best BBQ I have ever had!
