Hen House - Okemah

Really cool inside. We rode up from OKC. But found out its not a restaurant any longer.

My son's school had the prom here. It was beautiful!!

I've been here twice so far and there was definitely a reason why I came back. The staff is very friendly and actually care about how they can service you. The prices are very reasonable and if you like home cooked meals this is the place for you. I've eaten the meatloaf, Mexican Casserole and cobblers so far. I'd order them again. I love the feel of the restaurant as the décor is really neat. There's plenty of space in the barn area or even the yard for outdoor events. I've tried the recommendations by the staff and wasn't disappointed at all. They serve delicious desserts as well. Can't beat the overall experience of the Hen House. Highly recommend you to try it out.

My life changed when I discovered the Hen House...who would have thought that just 30 min from our home we could sit down to some of the best home cooking in the state of Oklahoma..my all time favorite is their chicken and dressing.. and let's just say I'd fight a hungry bear for the last serving..Hen House is the feeling of home.. you are always welcomed with smiles and a hello, and you will never leave hungry..Take a drive, sit on the porch and enjoy the experiance.

The food was served in a takeout box with plastic utensils. The staff did not check if we needed anything, and the food was cold.
