A cozy and warm restaurant to meet your Chinese food needs! Came over this wonderful joint, while through Ogalalla, and it is certainly recommended if you are interested in Chinese foods. The take-out food was delicious; not too oily, not too spicy, well balanced in taste, just the right amount, the right meat vegetable ratio and I mentioned tasty? 5/5 recommend.
Ate here for years with family, and it’s just amazing. The good food, paired with the great and amazing Steve.
This was a nice family owned style Chinese restaurant. We stopped to have lunch and enjoyed the sesame tofu and vegetable lo mein with some iced tea. The flavors were good and nothing was too greasy. I would recommend this if you're in the area andlooking for American style Chinese food.
This was one of the best rated food joints in town, so we tried it last night on our way through. It wasn?t anything spectacular, but it wasn?t bad either. I?ve been to a lot of poor Chinese food restaurants lately, and this was better than mostof my recent experiences, but didn?t particularly impress me either. We ordered a couple of appetizers, a couple of soups, and3 types of chicken. Soups came out quite quickly and were fine. Egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. The kids and I liked thehot and sour better, but hubby liked the egg drop better. We thought that both could have been a bit more flavorful though. Forappetizers, we had egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Both came out fairly soon after the soup, and were very fresh and crispy,so that was nice. For the thickness of the wontons, we would have appreciated a little more of the cream cheese mixture, butthey were still enjoyable. Egg rolls were good enough too. Nothing too special. The chicken dishes we had were cashew chicken,Szechuan chicken and General Tsao. The cashew was decent, but not terribly flavorful. Lots of onions and green bell peppers. Idon?t think there were cashews in the dish, but they were piled on top. The general tsao was breaded and had a decent flavor, but was unfortunately quite tough to chew. I usually love breaded chicken, but it was a bit much for my jaw. The Szechuan wasnot breaded and was also decent, but not very flavorful. The chicken was very tender though, so that was good. LOTS of carrotsand onions in the Szechuan. It also had a crown of broccoli around it, which made it prettier. Both the Szechuan and the generaltsao had a little bit of spice to them, but nothing crazy. The chicken dishes came out with one big plate of rice that lookedkind of yellow-orange. I am not sure what made the color, as I really didn?t detect much flavor. Hubby thinks oil made thecolor, and it was a little oily?so maybe he was right. The elderly gentleman taking our order was kind
