Golden Lake Pub - Oconomowoc

I've had amazing food and service every time I've visited this restaurant. The fish fry and appetizers are fantastic, and the bartenders, staff, and owner are all super friendly. I highly recommend it!

The new owners of Golden Lake Pub have really elevated the dining experience with some fantastic dishes. On Friday, August 19, we tried their grouper and found both meals to be delicious. Recently, I also had their crab cakes Benedict, which were absolutely incredible. Be sure to check it out—friendly staff and great service! We'll definitely be returning!

While visiting from out of town, I was in search of a good fish fry and I'm so glad we chose this restaurant! The perch was excellent and I absolutely loved the thin fries. The place appears to have been recently renovated and is very clean. Our waitress, Rachael, was outstanding! It was a pleasure chatting with the owners, Mike and Annie. I will definitely return, especially since I heard they will be offering a Sunday brunch!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 9:05 to find the bar completely empty, and not a single person greeted us. Our food orders were all mixed up, and the bartender was the slowest I've ever encountered. Overall, it was the worst service I've ever experienced.

We waited a long time for our food, which consisted of two cheeseburgers. The food was decent, but that’s about the best I can say. Also, the smoking area is located right by the front entrance, so be prepared to walk through it when you arrive.
