Anchor Inn - Ocean Gate

We came to Tom's River for the weekend. Based on a recommendation from our friend, we ate at The Anchor Inn. I had the Broiled Scallops and my girlfriend had the Delmonico Steak. Our waitress, Renee took care of us very well. Our ordered meals came out quickly, maybe a little too fast! But no complaints! In fact, we enjoyed the evening so much, we went back next night! Our waitress this night, Melissa delivered the same excellent service we experienced in the night before. The Oldies music station was also beautiful! We'll come back when we return to Tom's River? You can deposit on it!!!

Large local bar in Ocean Gate. You have a good selection of beers. We have the pizza and it was not bad, good way to refuel after a night. Pizza Adventures: Destination #85

I've been coming to Anchor Inn for over 45 years. I love the atmosphere. And I love the pizza. I came the other day and got some Manhattan Clam Chowder for lunch, not disappointed. I'm probably 45 years old.

First time there. The waitress was great helped us with the menu. I got the pizza and my wife got stuffed cabbage both were home made and delicious. Will be going back!
