Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Ocala

The 3-Piece Leg, Thigh, and Wing Meal was good, but the chicken was cold and a bit too salty. The wedges were hot, but about half of them were really crushed. The Regular Sweet Tea was just okay, as it's simply tea.

Honestly, this is the only restaurant I've ordered from that consistently delivers hot food. I'm not just talking about warmed-up meals; I mean genuinely hot, fresh food. I'm really grateful for that! And, of course, it’s delicious as always!

I had to place this order twice because the 8 piece classic meal was missing from the original delivery. Doordash thankfully credited my account and I placed the order a second time. The food was good however today the chicken pieces were small. The chicken breasts were small like the size of an iPhone 6 and not much thicker. Also coleslaw was missing. This is really disappointing because Lees has been a standard goto for my family and I have given glowing reviews prior to this one. As a regular customer I feel let down; after today I feel like I need to look for other options for fried chicken in Ocala.

Lees is absolutely fantastic! The pot pie and chicken strips were incredible and served piping hot. My delivery arrived very quickly as well. I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars, which is well-deserved! If I could, I would give it 10 stars!

FINALLY! They included a single honey mustard. My excitement was short lived. The chicken was old and dried out. Parts of the outer layer were extremely hard and inedible. Ive ordered several times from this store and consistently the food was good until now
