Celebrity’s Soul Food Ocala

This was our second time having dinner at Celebrity, the food was very delicious, outstanding service. Will definitely be back for more.

Reservations for 4 at 6pm. we arrived on time, but there was a sign on the outside that this restaurant was only for big parties or catering. we went in and the waitress confirmed that they belong only to large groups. the open table should remove its display from its list. we were very disappointed

On Friday at 17.30 am. we drove an hour and when we arrived, the doors were locked and closed for a private event. very disappointed. they would not have had any reservations if they were closed.

The ambience was really nice and the service was great. The punch was good but the food lacked a soul food flavor and was on the bland side. When I think of soul food, I think of something that will arouse my senses (sight, smell and taste) and awaken my taste buds. This place did not do that for me and I was very disappointed. I wish them success but I will not be eating there again.

This is a quaint restaurant with a great ambiance. I had reservations was seated right away bit it too a long time before the server arrived. We ordered a bottle of wine that was listed on the menu but the server brought out an entirely different wine (our request was red she brought white), we ordered another choice. The food was very tasty the serving size was huge. Our server was great, however I feel the manager should have come out when we had the mixup with the wine also just greet the guest to make sure everything was OK. I will visit again.
