Montana's BBQ & Bar - Burloak

Unfortunately it was miss after miss! First we ordered the sangria from the menu only to be told they don’t have it anymore. Then we waited quite a while for our food but my husbands warm tortillas were delivered to the table 30 minutes before his fajitas! My future son in law order the salad with grilled chicken he got his salad and 20 minutes later he got his chicken. We did get water but they had run out of adult cups so we got Christopher Robin cups and the restaurant wasn’t even busy! As we left we said we don’t going back there very fast !

Montana's picked for its proximity to Bronte Creek Park which we were going to visit after our meeting. The Trio for lunch was also a draw. 4 of the 6 had the Trio a fantastic deal for $10.95, including 1. Choice of soup, choice of salad a choice from 3 sandwich wraps. The others had fish I chips. We all enjoyed the meal the meeting went well with our server visiting us regularly. All in all we will meet there again in late July.

We went to celebrate my fathers birthday. We had 11 people in our party. The meal took close to an hour to come to the table after ordering. Once we received our food there was a lot of mistakes with our order. Three of the people did not get corn bread until we asked a couple of times for it. It came after they had finished their meals. Two of the people did not receive rice with their dinner. They just got the meat and vegetables. Two other people ordered beef nachos and got pork. Since one of the people eating the nachos doesn’t eat pork we needed to send these back. They finally got the nachos with chicken because they ran out of beef, but only after the rest of their table had eaten. I am not sure what the issue was because we have eaten here before without any issues

Horrible sums this up. Wasn't really that busy but it was so loud! The only thing I wanted from the menu they didn't have.... No salmon? So I had to choose another option but was so disappointed. Also took forever for waiter to come back to get my 2nd choice which held up everyone's meals. My mom was delivered a meal that was missing 2 things she she specifically requested... When she asked about it the waiter played clueless. Then came back and said we're out of sweet potatoes fries and mushrooms. But didn't really offer any solution other than I'm sorry too bad. (Also odd construing both mine and my dad's meal included mushrooms.... All things considered at the end of the meal we were not offered any apology or anything for the inconveniences of so many menu items missing. In my opinion my mom's meal should have been complementary as the very least. Our waiter was friendly and personable but unfortunately these mistakes were just not well handled. We will not be back and left an overall feeling that I don't have any interest in returning to any Montana's.

Had a classic BBQ sampler and was impressed. Lots of meat, with the brisket taking center stage. Great smoke ring , but still moist and tender. Pull pork was good but could use more smoke for my taste. Excellent overall with outstanding, friendly service.The photo says it all...no need for a take home box!
