The James Bond sliders were delicious, but the candied yam fries were the best sweet potatoes I have ever had. They are a revelation - this is the standard every sweet potato fry should aim for. Crispy, crunchy, sweet yet slightly salty. I usually can't eat fries without ketchup, but these were so good that I didn't even need to dip them (I can't believe I'm saying this).
Their chicken, fish, and oyster po'boys are made from whole plants that you can recognize after biting into their crispy fried batter. There is no processed soy or fake meat in these dishes! When I requested for plastic-free packaging for takeout, they were very accommodating and packed my order in their paper containers. You can enjoy your meal outside in the sun and support a black-owned business. What more could you ask for?
I was thrilled to discover another vegan business owned by a black woman to support. The sliders were delicious and the owner was incredibly kind, even giving my child a free cupcake as a thank you. The customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be ordering again.
Their chicken, fish, and oyster po' boys are made using whole ingredients that provide a recognizable taste and texture after biting into the crispy fried batter. There's no processed soy or wheat imitation meat in these dishes! Additionally, when I requested my to-go order to be plastic-free, the staff kindly accommodated by packaging my food in their eco-friendly paper containers meant for dine-in use.
