Two minutes after I received a teXt that the order would be delivered in about five minutes, I received another teXt saying that the order had been cancelled. A few minutes after that I got another teXt saying that the food would be delivered soon. Soon after that I received ANOTHER teXt informing that the delivery had been cancelled and that I should contact the store. The store didn't pick up any of my calls
I don't know what that food was, but it was not boston market. It was instant mashed potatoes, and worse than Kraft mac and cheese. It's as if Boston market went to a restaurant supply bought things kinda similar for way cheaper and made them hoping people wouldn't notice. You are better off buying the Boston market frozen meals.. avoid
STAY AWAY!!! THEY STEAL YOUR DO *NOTHING* TO FIX IT!! Staff is friendly and kind but ineffective and CLEARLY don 't know about customer service!!Prices ADVERTISED on their computer/counter/splash guard menus are LOWER than what 's programed in the computer at the register. When asked about the overcharged amount, we were given this explanation told they couldn 't change it . Ok... THAT 'S ILLEGAL!!!The LEAST they could have done was offer 2 extra sides /or a dessert to compensate the ILLEGAL action extra costs. But NOPE! THEY OFFERED *NOTHING!! NADA. ZIP. ZILCH. ZIPPO. Dunno if ALL locations are practicing this ILLEGAL action... but THIS ONE for SURE IS! So.... STAY AWAY! Or buyer beware...! You 've been warned!!
BEWARE DO NOT ORDER CATERING FROM BOSTON MARKET!!!! If I could I would give them a negative 133 stars. I ordered 133 Thanksgiving Premium Meals from them on 11/14/2023 to be delivered 11/17/23 @4pm for 133 seniors to have Thanksgiving dinner. I started calling at 10:30 am on 11/17/23 to confirm my delivery today all the corporate numbers were stating that they can not calls at this time. So I started calling local restaurants and no answer there either just ring until busy. So I decided to get in the car and drive to the store in Fremont the closest store to my location, to find a sticker on the door stating it is condemned. Finally was able to get through to the corporate office after trying for 4 hours to be told the restaurant just canceled our order because not enough inventory to do the order. I placed the order on 11/14 for Delivery 11/17 they had 3 days to order and prepare for this order and failed to do so. They also told me that the consent department will call me after 11/23/23 to discuss a refund. They would not give me a number to call and follow up. so noW I have 133 Seniors that do not have a Thanksgiving Dinner tonight that THEY WERE COUNTING ON. THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IS SO UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow where do I start. I ordered Boston Market Thanksgiving Catering for and event of 50 people and paid well over $1k. Once 30min passed the expected delivery time I called the catering service, no answer for 30 minutes. I then called the direct line to Aaron who processed my order, and he told me he only places the ordered and I need to contact the actual store. He gave me the number to the Fremont location, but my invoice had the Oakland store number on it. I called both several times and no answer. Anyways, the catered Thanksgiving meal for my event never came and I did not receive a call back from the company. Don't waste your time or money. There are better options out there. Very unprofessional.
