Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Oak Ridge

I had one of the most delicious and juicy burgers ever! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the custard sundae was delightfully creamy—absolutely no grit or ice crystals to be found. They make their custard in-house every day! I also love the charming 50s decor that adds to the atmosphere. From juicy burgers to crispy fries, milkshakes, custards, sandwiches, and onion rings, everything here is fantastic!

This place is fantastic. Hot and fresh food, friendly and attentive wait staff, and great prices. We will definitely be making return trips.

Our server was fantastic! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. She confidently recommended several dishes, and we decided to go with her suggestions—we were not disappointed! Although we had to wait a little while for our meals, it was during the lunch rush and we ordered four main plates along with an appetizer, so it was understandable. The wait was no longer than 15 minutes. I really appreciated the samples of the ice cream of the day that they brought out to help us decide on our desserts. The retro-style atmosphere was charming, and my kids had a wonderful time enjoying their freshly made ice cream with sprinkles.

Our take out tonight was phenomenal. It was fresh, steaming hot and tasty. The price is very reasonable. The fact it only cost $10 more dollars than the disappointing meal we had last night is astounding. The only suggestion I have is please pick up mobile ordering. I would definitely get lunch here regularly if that option was offered.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the onion rings were perfectly breaded, with the onions staying intact when you take a bite. The fried pickles were also impressive; while the breading wasn't as thick as the onion rings, the quality of the pickles themselves was outstanding. The Double Cheeseburger was massive and absolutely delicious, and the John Boy and Billy Burger was equally delicious. I highly recommend opting for tater tots instead of fries. The atmosphere has a charming 50s vibe, and I really enjoyed the music as well as the friendly staff!
