Our favorite fish resto in Nurenberg, is a small place, with small tables inside and of course the garden in the back is closed during winter. So, the whole thing is something like by m, including the tables, and in this limited...space around people were queueing the other day, in order to buy good fresh cooked fish to take home. I mean, the place is full of people all the time, devoted customers, during the day. This is an automatic proof of the quality fresh fish plus seafood they offer, as super good value. Quite friendly, good service, yammy fresh fish, served with various salads and dressings. We simply love it and strongly recommend it.

The place is primarly a fish and sea food market, but they also have a couple of tables and a small menu. Consisting naturally of fish things. And you can get anything you buy also cooked (fried). The prices are not the cheapest, but the...fish is fresh and you can watch it being prepared. Also, for wine people, there's a decent selection of wine available. On the downside, you'r clothes will smell like fried fish after a while, and in the winter is can get a bit bit chilly. Still, definitely worth the visit.

All of this for so, it is a very good value place. Good ambience in the garden of course, very good service, pretty quick and friendly. Good german beer available of course. This resto is not situated in the central area of the city, but it is a spot for the locals because of its quality, efficiency and good value. Many people come to take away cooked food, some just to get good fresh fish and cook it at home. If you go for lunch, mind that the place closes at And the new herrings (mattjes) will arrive on Bon apetit.
