Cucina Italiana - Nürnberg

The service was just awful! Waited for a good 15 minutes before anybody even acknowledged my existence and when somebody did finally arrive, he literally grunted. No hello, no eye contact, just a grunt to which I assumed he wanted my order. More waiting for the food which was OK, then waiting again for my dishes to be cleared and the bill which also took forever. I motioned to the waiter in the distance that I'm ready for my bill, to which he acknowledged then disappeared and I waited another ten minutes before finally getting my bill which was presented by a woman who did not make eye contact or say anything and just dropped my receipt in the table without giving it to me or thank you or even look at me. How this place stays open with such bad service is beyond me...

Wow! This is our third city in Germany after five weeks in Europe and we decided to treat ourselves to some Italian food for a change. What a remarkable find. I know that Nuremberg is an international city with lots of great food, but this place is spectacular. We had to wait a long time for the service, which is very authentic too. : But they were slammed as it is very popular. We tried the gnocchi the spaghetti to feel with tuna sauce a pizza soups and salads. Everything was wonderful.. And the owner or manager speaks English German and Italian and it seems to be family owned from Italy. I highly recommend! We ate inside with the kids because there was no other option, but they have a great Terrace too!
