I don't know which comment that I saw someone said its fantastic, I really want to said this is really a bad bad place to go for, chef is from Thai but the
Narai is pretty goodNot disappointing, but sorta what I'd come to expect of most Thai food in Melbourne.
The restaurant is small but has a warm and friendly feel about it. The staff are very welcoming and the service was very good. The food was delicious. We had a big group of 14 and chose Banquet B. Only negative is that they encourage you to leave before 10.30pm, which is a bit early on a Saturday night.
Travelling all over Asia for more than 17 years, eating Thai food in uncountable places in Thailand and around Asia, including Australia, this dinning out experience was below all of my expectations.Taste of the food very poor, very little flavour and everything was in very big junks and just with seasonal western vegetables. The Pad Thai I had was totally flavourless, the green curry had a slight touch of flavour.I concluded, waste of money and time, beside hungry to get some nice food after all the effortSorry for the owners, but I am sure, they could do much better and keep Thai food as it is, as there are a few places in greater MELBOURNE with real Thai taste.
