Coco Loco is putatively the world's first certified organic and fair trade 'chocolat' bar.

Lovely, excellent Northcote ambience and good coffee I recommend this place to friends. Gets busy at times but feels very friendly and relaxed

The owner is an interesting eclectic gentleman that is committed to giving quality gluten free organic ethical food, and for his entrees and mains he succeeded. We found his quesodillas and tacos to be an interesting blend of authentic and modern, and definitely delicious. And there is just enough tumeric to definitely define it as Mexican. Loved the tortillas - great texture, soft, and able to be consumed with either knife and fork (like my partner) or by hand (like me). The check of a good tortilla is the ability to hold its shape and not leak - these held their shape and did not leak. Entrees and mains are top notchDesserts, on the other hand, well ... this place used to be Coco Loco, and you can see the influence. If you are not a fan of chocolate, or want something that is not chocolate for dessert, bad luck.Will definitely return.

We loved the tortillas - they had a great texture, soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients. The desserts were also top-notch, with a special mention to the chocolate options. If you're not a fan of chocolate, however, you may be out of luck. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this Coco Loco restaurant and will definitely be returning.
