Lotus Saigon - NORTH WARD

I used to visit here quite regularly and found it to be very nice. Unfortunately they practice Covid segregation now and require your vaccination certificate. I don't carry my mobile phone everywhere so was unable to produce my documents. So I could not sit down and eat with my wife. Oh, but it was alright to stand there and order takeaway. We left and went to another lovely restaurant which doesn't mandate these stupid rules. I will never recommend businesses who are happy to segregate their paying customers. I also run many airbnbs in the Townsville area and will actively encourage my visitors to not go there either. Well done Lotus Saigon!

I have had the pleasure of eating here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Beautiful and flavour filled food, great prices and good service.Can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

Having frequented this place many times due to the great service and food served, I was shocked and appalled at the service received on this last visit. The waitress was rude obnoxious and was clear that she did not want to be at work. This created a rather unpleasant dining experience.. I feel bad for the business as it’s a gem in Townsville but is being tarnished by the poor service currently being displayed… whilst one appreciates that one could be having a bad day, just be mindful that you are representing a business and perception is everything!

Great clean venue, good food, prompt service, good choice of Vietnamese dishes on menu, Quail was excellent, Pho was good also. I'll return.
