Having a worked in North Sydney for many years, this was one of my regular weekly lunch options. In short a great Malaysian/Singaporean food outlet. The Hainese Chicken rice is the best I've ever had in Sydney (even better than Temasek in Parramatta, and thats saying a lot !). Now that im working in another part of town, I still try to make a visit atleast once a month for my hainese chicken rice fix. Get there before 12.30pm if you want this dish as it's often sold out early due to its popularity.The Nasi Lemak and Prawn Laksa are also stand-out dishes.And the price you pay here is on the low side for the value you get ...10 thumbs up, if there is such a thing.Open M-F only for lunch.
One of the best for Malaysian in North Sydney. I work 2-3 days a week in North Sydney and this place is always very popular, drawing big crowds around lunchtime.Get in quick as many dishes sell out, especially the Chicken Rice and Beef Rending. Very quick service and all the mains I've tried there are really tasty and satisfying - Highly recommended a visit to this eatery.
I have been eyeing off this place for a few weeks and finally I found it and had time to sit down and enjoy my chow! This place is upstairs in an old school
Nasi Goreng was good with seafood. Love the seafood cracker and semi fried egg. It was bellyful and yum.
