Leftover fish reheats well in the airfryer. The highlight of our meal was the desserts but most of all the bread pudding. Holy wow. And gluten free!!! A huge thank you to the owners here for making food both healthy and fabulous! We can't wait to come back.
Had a craving for real pub food and went to Yelp. Found FATP in Colleyville and made the drive. It was well worth the trip. We had the sample platter of appetizers which was great, followed by fish and chips and steak and ale pie. Both were excellent. Maybe not quite as good as London but top notch for DFW. Place is clean, great ambiance and service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Came because we were in the area and remember hearing about them on TV. It was pretty empty on a Saturday night, just 2-3 other tables. Needless to say we were seated quickly. Drink orders taken immediately and we ordered appetizers as well. The music seemed loud but likely related to being empty. I could see if it were busier it would've been fine. It took a while for the appetizers to come out (fried mushrooms and scotch eggs). The waitress told us the Scotch eggs would take a while (and it's also in the menu). We ordered not long before the appetizers came out. The fried mushrooms were great! Batter is good but the ranch tastes like it was out of a jar. The scotch eggs were a little over cooked. Dinner was okay. The mushy peas were to my liking. The kids liked the fish and chips but they said it had too much batter. Overall, service wasn't great and food was just okay. It was pretty expensive as well.
Food is simple but tasty. Haven't met a staff member who was not smiling and helpful. Small place but packs big punch of making you feel like you are in an English pub.
Cute little bar in a nice area. Inside isn't too big but there is an outside area for when the weather allows. This is a British themed restaurant and there are no televisions mounted on the walls for sports watching so you are gonna have to make small talk with your friends when you go. The server was great and super attentive. I really liked her friendly demeanor. I ordered the sampler appetizer and was overall disappointed in the offerings. The selection of cheeses was good but the amount of crackers served with them was poor and was generic American club crackers. (Cut rounds of French bread would have been amazing). The sausage roll was great and also good was the addition of a pot of Branston pickle something you don't see anywhere in America! Lol. Not so good was the dry pickled vegetables a pot of piccalilli would have been better or even some pickled onions? Additions that I would also liked to have seen a few chipolata sausages, sliced apples, celery sticks, pat of butter, sliced cucumber??? Lastly the Scotch egg had potential but sadly it was over cooked.
