The Depot Express - North Liberty

Good location, good selection of things inside, plus they have F'reals.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the past week, and I really dislike places where the staff ignores you and is unhelpful. Unfortunately, this happened again tonight. The cashier was rude and acted as though I didn't belong there. I believe that Kwik Star stations provide better service and should take over locations like this one.

The gas prices are competitive, but there isn't a wide variety of options on the menu.

The restaurant is lovely and clean, with a friendly staff and delicious breakfast pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

I was trying to get gas at this location and I was having trouble with the pump, I had inserted my card to prepay and selected which gas I needed and then the pump would not pump gas. I went inside to get help and let the employee know that it had put a $125 charge on my credit card but didn't allow me to pump any gas. She was immediately rude to me and basically said that I was dumb and that it was just a temporary hold, I said that is fine but it won't let me pump any gas. She then made me prepay at the same pump so I did, went back out and it still would not work. I went back inside and then she said, that pump must not be working, and made me switch to a different one... she was very rude and condescending, I went in to tell her it wasn't working and she acted like it was my fault even though it clearly wasn't.
