Ordered the hamburger steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms with mashed potatoes green beans and gravy. The meat was tough. The potatoes were tasteless. We also ordered the fried deviled eggs and they left alot to be desired. The mozzarella balls were tasty. The restaurant was empty at 5:30 on a Saturday night. I understand why. The brisket fries were also tasty.

Hartsville has some of the better restaurants in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina and The Blind Pig Pub is a great addition to this fantastic town. When you walk in, the dining room is wide open with plenty of room between the tables. It has a clean and modern feel. The menu isn't what you'd call typical southern food but they are, for the most part, unique. The have some unique tacos which I passed on this time. Instead, I ended up ordering the Fish Chips. The fish was two nice, thick filets of cod which were battered and fried. Definitely cooked nicely. The chips were actually chips and not the British version of chips which are basically French Fries. I was a little disappointed but the house made chips were pretty good. Overall, it's worth a visit if you are in the area.
