Mcalister's Deli - North Canton

Omg people, just look at that baked potato, it's thicc! I came on opening day after seeing so many ads on Facebook and I was so pleasently surprised by how good the food is and how nice the people are. The employees were really on point and it didn't seem like they were learning as much as they had been doing this job for years. My portions were huge for a reuben and baked potato, my wife got the pick 2 sandwich and soup and the soup seemed a little small, but the baked potato more than made up for that. I would highly recommend coming here and I plan to come back many more times.

Ordered the Spicy Southwest Chicken sandwich, with macaroni and cheese, and a lemonade. Restaurant was VERY busy, several people waiting for to go orders. Placed my to go order, waited in que with a group of other to go orders. Can see them being bagged, and just sitting on the counter. Nobody was giving them to customers. Finally a gentlemen (who appeared to be on lunch) came back, and orders were filled. Sandwich was ok. Bread was extremely soggy with sauce. Chicken tasted like frozen chicken strips warmed up. Pickle was very good, lol. Macaroni and cheese, tasted like that bulk frozen mac you could get at a grocery store. Very bland. Lemonade is INCREDIBLY sweet. Not worth the money.

It was a very nice place, but I would say it's average. I had a Reuben. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever had. It didn't have a lot of flavor. The price was premium though. I ordered two small drinks, but I was charged for two large. Nothing stood out as special. I will probably give them another chance someday though.

This place has been open less 2 months and I think we've been there 8 times. What's good Well the new Yorker and the jalapeño turkey crunch are my favorites (tip try them both in the choose 2) the max baked potato is great get it with the chili and put a little on the potato it's excellent. Grilled chicken, club, and memphen were good too.

We stopped in on a busy Saturday and the staff was on top of their game. Food came out fast and delicious. My reuben was perfect all the way through. I really recommend the sweet tea too!
