Carpenter In Aust - North Browning

Walking distance to downtown, but it feels quiet and secluded. Great vibe!! The restaurant is very good and there are some great dining options nearby.

Did not stay but had lunch here and it was awesome. It offered a good variety for vegetarians.

I’ve gone here a few times with friends for drinks a few times and it’s been great. The design aesthetics, service, drinks, wine selection, are all fantastic. However, some friends from out of town just stayed here while visiting my girlfriend and I and we were really looking forward to a couple of days of lounging in the pool with them, but the pool was overrun with kids both yesterday and today. Today, we just left because there were so many kids in there before we even got in. The dozen or so kids weren’t even a single group of kids, but multiple groups of kids screaming and splashing people. This is a small boutique hotel with a poolside bar. It’s baffling to me that multiple groups of adults with kids would decide that this was an appropriate and welcome place for kids to play. Relaxing at the pool was one of the primary reasons that we recommended this hotel to our friends, but I don’t think we’ll be recommending it to anyone else in the future. Parents, please take your kids to family oriented hotels, not hotels that are clearly adult oriented. Carpenter, you need to figure something out with that.

Came to eat at the little dinner down stairs and had the best muscles shishito peppers and cheese cake I’ve ever had in my life. Sarah was the best. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. Will be back soon!
