Great Wall Express - North Battleford

Classic Chinese-Canadian cuisine. Nothing too fancy, just good food and good service. They have food that is sitting in buffet-style trays, but they also have other menu items.

North Battleford's hidden little gem! Do not judge the book by its cover on this one. We ordered tons of takeout for a birthday supper. (Kung Pao, Curry Chicken, Vegetable Medley, S S Pork, Dry Ribs, Ginger Beef, Beef Greens) Food was made fresh to order, clean entrance and dining area. You could smell the food as soon as you walked in, not filth like the outside of the building would suggest. Hands down the freshest Chinese food around the area. This is a place you will travel for. Every dish we tried tasted different. Each flavor profile bringing its own experience to your pallet. (Unlike many other places). Their customer service is personable, attentive and individualized. Fast and ready to go Chinese food restaurant. Buffet style when I went there on Sat, March 18/23 for supper at 5pm. They serve you and you select either eat in of take out. Food was good and they have a variety to choose from. I would recommend this place if you want to order and go. Seating area is small but restaurant to clean and cozy. I would go back for lunch on the run for sure! I recommend this place and prices are high but the portions are big so worth it.
