Pennydale Junction - North Battleford

Amazing restaurant, wonderful staff, delicious food. It was a great experience. The manager of the restaurant came out to check on us as well. Highly recommend!

We were hesitant to go to Pennydale's because of mixed reviews. We noticed that in the last 3 months reviews were excellent, so we took a chance. Wow! Everything was excellent. My husband had a beautifully spiced roasted chicken and I had shrimp scampi, again beautifully spiced. Both came with choice of potato (we had garlic mashed) and perfectly cooked vegetables. I also had a lovely lightly-spiced lentil soup. The food came quickly, served by the very congenial Tenatia. (Hopefully, I am spelling names correctly) The new manager, Adnun, who has been on the job for 3 months, wants to make this the best restaurant it can be. He came to chat with us and is open to suggestions. Well, in three months, he has done an amazing job! We highly recommend this place!

Pennydale Junction has been an institution in the Battlefords for decades…however with a change of ownership last year the restaurant had lost its great reputation. Three months ago a new manager was brought in who is doing his utmost to turn things around. Myself and a couple friends decided to go ‘check things out’ tonight. We were seated promptly, service was nice. One of my companions had the Greek salad which she enjoyed, I had the starter Shrimp Scampi which was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The third member of our group ordered the Chicken Caesar salad which she enjoyed until she found some chicken which was undercooked. When it was brought to the managers attention he was very apologetic and comped the meal. The manager spent a significant amount of time chatting with us and asking for suggestions for improvement. I will return to Pennydale, and would ask that everyone give Adnan and his new team a chance to bring Pennydale Junction back to the special place we all remember.

Hmmm worst service 40min. Mushroom swiss burger doesnt come with swiss cheese hmmm we went there for the web site advertised prime rib they apparently hadnt done it for month Total bomb

Great food and lovely service! Nice place to stop in on our way through town and would go back again.
