Very good! First time trying this place. I got the pulled pork sandwhich and my husband got the 1/4 meat platter. Mac and cheese was yummy! A bit pricey but would eat again!

Food was surprisingly good. Brisket by far wins out of the two meat platter. A little pricey but good taste!

Have been going to Virginia for a couple of years for work and this place never disappoints. Love their selection of craft brews (Frogman Lager is my favorite) and the delicious barbecue gives me a taste of home! Sadly got moved to the west coast so it might be a while before I can make it back. Would definitely go just for the beer and ?cue! Keep up the great work.

Delicious food and good beer, but... our group of three ordered sandwiches and sides, which arrived on a tray. When we requested plates, we were given those flimsy, small cardboard trays that fries are sometimes served in. Seriously, this establishment is too nice and pricey not to offer proper plates! Barbecue can get messy—please provide your guests with proper dishware.

My friend and I tried a beer flight, starting with the Frogman Lager. I found this Vienna Lager to be easy to drink and a solid choice for lager lovers. The Sakura was absolutely delightful and my favorite of the four; it had lovely cherry blossom notes, though I was disappointed it wasn’t available in cans for takeout. The Direct Deposit was surprisingly refreshing for a sour beer; it wasn't as tart as I expected and had a nice fruity flavor. As a stout enthusiast, I appreciated the Hindsight stout for its rich flavors. While I didn't pick up on the Vietnamese coffee notes as much, it still had a pleasant hint of coffee taste. We ordered several sides along with the Smack and Beef Sandwich, which was delicious. The jalapeño added a nice kick, and the mac and cheese was fantastic. We also got a side of Smack cheese, cornbread, Peggy's Corn, potato salad, and collard greens. The cornbread reminded me more of pumpkin bread, but it was still tasty. Peggy's Corn was a standout and made for a great side dish. The potato salad was simple yet packed with flavor, while the collard greens were good but not my favorite. Overall, the food was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beer. I would definitely recommend this place!
