Chanello's Pizza - Norfolk

It was good, but I forgot to mention that I wanted a thin crust when I placed my order.

Jay is an excellent manager who goes above and beyond to ensure that your order is correct and to your liking.

I should have checked the reviews for this place before ordering, but it was late, and I went ahead anyway. To make a long story short, my dinner arrived late, and my drink was missing. I explained the situation to the delivery person and gave him a tip, and he assured me he would bring my drink back. Thirty minutes later, I called the restaurant, and they said everyone would take care of it and that the driver would return with my drink, just as he promised. However, my drink never arrived. When I called back the next morning, the person who answered couldn't assist me and told me to call again later. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I won't be ordering from them again. Additionally, the delivery driver was dishonest and certainly didn’t deserve a tip.

I ordered the Pepperoni Extreme Pizza through Grubhub around midnight. When I arrived for pickup, the staff checked my order and informed me that they had mistakenly made a plain cheese pizza instead. They explained that they didn’t have the cup pepperoni needed to prepare the Pepperoni Extreme and asked how I would like to proceed. It would have been courteous for them to contact me about the issue, as I’ve had other restaurants call in similar situations to offer alternatives or cancellations. We eventually agreed that they would make the pizza with the pepperoni they had available, and I waited about 15 minutes for it. The 12-inch hand-tossed Pepperoni Extreme pizza was just okay. If you're craving pizza late at night, this place is an option since there aren't many other restaurants open past midnight.

Fantastic pizza with amazing flavor and friendly service! The restaurant itself was just okay, but don't let that affect your choice. Definitely order from these guys!!!
