Cafe Stella - Norfolk

Stopped in for my first time last week. i had to pick up some knives to sharpen, so i had breakfast and great coffee. made three trips back and had great coffee each time man this place is busy all day long i like it.<br/ <br/ bright yellow coffee grinder sits off to the right smell is wonderful drums of coffee beans await the buyers.......one guy bought 3 cans of beans while i was eating my eggs and meager bacon you know i like bacon and certain spots do give more than others so lets say the bacon was 'meager '

Someone needs to teach them how to pour a draft. Coffee is excellent but I would go somewhere else for my beer unless owner is pouring. Carrot cake is homemade and great. Brown rice bowl loaded with salmon.

The decor is vet eclectic... I'm nice... The own declares his wife's hoarding is loved and embraced!!! Ha!!!<br/ <br/ If I hadn't met the owner I would have lowered my review for the decor, but this is a fabulous place! The owner and staff were wonderful! Fun and totally being themselves... Not pretentious or standoffish. <br/ <br/ The desserts are delightful! Definitely sweet, but they are desserts right! ; <br/ <br/ The coffee is very good! I got the lavender mocha and it was a brilliant surprise and I normally hate mocha. I got this because of the novelty of lavender in a coffee drink. I would love it a little less sweet but I like strong drinks. Like Starbucks makes my teeth hurt. <br/ <br/ Any who, this is a great place. They do events, have live music and are family friendly. As a mother of two littles, I personally loved the stool in the bathroom.

Very good coffee, nice big space. Stopped by for a break and coffee (latte and a mocha . The mocha was not overly sweet which was nice. Ambiance inside and out was cool, except for the fact that it was too loud inside. Noise reduction pieces would really help (hint- more fabric please, not glass... Services was a little disorganized and it was hard to communicate my order because of the loudness. The beans were fresh! I'd like to suggest that the roast date be put on each can- why not *brag* about how fresh it is? Great space to stop and hang out. Out door seating area was nice too.
