Donnie's Pit Stop Grill - Nogal

Service was bad waited forever to get our food and the place was empty, finally got our burgers and they were so dry fries over cooked, bun on the brisket sandwich was so hard couldn't bite into it. Even the drinks weren't good. Would not recommend.

Good food and great service. Clean and nice establishment. Food came out quickly. Will eat hear again!

Out of five stars 2.5 would be considered average, so I’m rating these folks just above average. Let me start by saying they definitely let you know up front it’s a family owned/ run business and I give them props for all they’ve probably had to weather the past several years. It’s very clear that they are painfully under staffed. The restaurant and patio weren’t packed, but it was obvious they were having trouble keeping up. We were created immediately and over all the service was definitely friendly. My wife ordered the butter pecan cake since she wasn’t very hungry. I ordered a pizza. The cake was in our opinion surprisingly small, but overall decent. The pizza definitely proves this is not a pizza place. It reminded me of an average slightly over cooked frozen pizza. That being said we would give them a second chance because the other food we saw coming out to people looked great and the staff were definitely polite and doing the best we can. I’m aware the owner often responds to these reviews and I’m interested to see how the feedback will be accepted. All in all I’d try it again with hopes of adding another star.

We tried this place for the 1st time today, and we won't be back. The service was okay, but the food was horrible.The fish and chips were nothing to write home about, and the fries were undercooked and too salty. The chicken sandwich was super thin and flavorless, served with undercooked fries of course. The side of mac and cheese tasted like chemicals, and for a $4 side it was tiny. Maybe 2 spoonfuls for an adult.Also, not sure why but all silverware is plastic and no plates are used. The ketchup comes in super tiny cups, too . Why not just bring a bottle to the table like other places?The tables and chairs on the deck were disgusting, too. I would absolutely not recommend this place; it's clear this place is pinching pennies in all the wrong ways.

Brady was very welcoming and has the best personality! We got sat right away and for being short staffed our food didn’t take long! She made the place great!
