We had an enjoyable meal at China Park. The restaurant was very quiet on our visit it was mid week in January though there was another table in celebrating Chinese New Year. Yes the menu is the same as you will find in 100s...on anglicised Chinese restaurants in many countries though everything we had was freshly cooked with good portions and service was friendly and relaxed. Including a couple of beers our meal came to 70€ for 2 so we felt good value. It may be a different experience when the restaurant is very busy though we would happily try this family run restaurant again.
The food was ok but what made me upset was that I ordered to the lady some food and realized when it arrived, that there were 3 dishes more that we did not order (2 bowls of rice and ravioli) I kept them and paid...for them but I did not like it. We also asked if they had a particular vegetable that was not in the menu and were replied that yes they had. But actually we received another vegetable. There was very few people in the restaurant so it was not due to overload of orders. The waiter was extremely nice and kind.
Ordered Bo Bun. Price E13 from memory at lunch time. Not very friendly service. Would not return. Caraf of water offered.
Came here many years ago and was thrilled to see it was still there. Unfortunately it was not as brilliant as it was back then. It was a Saturday night about 9p.m. and the place was empty. We ordered safe dishes- chicken curry and sweet...and sour pork and with a carafe of wine , reminisced about our previous visit. The food came very quickly , chicken curry a bit bland but o.k. but the pork was completely inedible, you could not cut it or chew it. Fortunately we normally only have one meal to share at home so that is what we did. The gentleman who had served us came to take our plates and did ask if there was a problem. He was a polite guy and I admitted that the pork dish was inedible. He did take the price of the meal off our bill- perhaps their chef was off?
